what if SJ members were just

normal people like you and I? would we go screaming after them? I wonder. I mean. There are a lot of good looking people out there that are as hot or hotter than SJ members. Yes I know SJ members are hot and goodlooking, blah, blah. What if I spot Ryeowook (if he wasn't as popular as now) in the streets of Flushing. would I be like, Oh wow, he's hot? Or would I just pass by him. of course all this media makes them really good looking. I mean I am sure that they are very good looking off camera; however, if you are presented in the media every day, you have to look better than the rest of us, right? I mean they are naturally good looking boys. That is why they appealed to me in the beginning anyway. On facebook, I do not comment or "like" half naked pictures of SJ boys. The reason? Because I don't see them that way. And if I do that to my biological brothers, for instance, that is just nasty. I don't want to treat SJ Boys as sexual objects. I dont' want that to be reason for me to like SJ. I want to like them for deeper reason. I know I did that in the past in my teenage years, but I ain't a teenager anyway. Besides, these boys are at least 2 years younger than I. I don't want to objectify them. They are humans. They deserve better than treating them like objects. I want to appreciate them as individuals. I understand. Teenagers go through that phase. I had my own share of phase. I was so happy when I heard Justin TImberlake was/ is a week younger than I. I remember I used to ohhhs and ahhhs when he used to dance, and be like omg he has an amazing bod! They are not objects or arm candies. I want to appreciate them as individuals and artists. But if I were to see them in Flushing or Herald Square of NYC, I would say "oh what a good looking boy" but then later on have forgotten about it and just walked by. It's what these entertainment business try to portray them as : objects or merchandise. And that is just plainly sad. Above all, they are humans like you and I before they are CELEBRITIES! I am sure they are flattered to be swooned by all these teenage girl fans. I just come from a different point of view being 2 years older than Leeteuk. I hope this did not offend teenage girls if they read it. I have been through that phase. Just saying that I am coming from a different vantage point than they are. I don't want to just marvel at their hot bods. Actually, it breaks my initial "image" of the boys as "cute." I see that the entertainment company is trying to objectify these boys and make them into "merchandise." by having them be half-naked. To me that is more depressing. The cute image I had of them is gone.
